Karla makes her Peninsula Players debut after playing Sarah in Porchlight Theatre’s acclaimed production of Ragtime.  She portrayed the Princess in Ravinia’s Princess and the Black-eyed Pea.  She was Dessa Rose in the Midwest premier of Dessa Rose at AppleTree Theatre (Jeff Nomination) & Ti Moune, Once on this Island  (Jeff Nomination). Other credits include Mamma Mia (National Tour); The Piano Lesson (Madison Rep), Gigi, Miss Saigon (Marriott Lincolnshire); Charlaine, Ain’t Misbehavin (Arkansas Rep); The Amen Corner (Goodman Theater); Celeste #2, Sunday in the Park with George (Ravinia); God and Country (Victory Gardens). She has worked as a singer on cruiseships with bands around Chicago. Karla teaches choir & general music for the Merit School of Music.
