Peninsula Players Theatre is calling for passionate individuals to join its volunteer ushering team for the 90th season, running from June 17 through October 19, 2025.
Starting Tuesday, June 3rd, at 10:00 a.m., individuals interested in becoming volunteer ushers can register by phoning the Box Office at (920) 868-3287.
Ushers are crucial in guiding patrons through their nightly theatrical journey at Door County’s iconic professional theatre. Volunteering as an usher is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the magic of live performances while contributing to the seamless operation of Peninsula Players Theatre productions. Whether you are a seasoned theater enthusiast or just starting your journey, the Theatre welcomes you to be a part of its exciting season. Ushers report to the house manager one hour before curtain time and assist patrons by scanning tickets, distributing programs, and directing patrons to their seats. Volunteer ushers stay for the show, assist with “door duty” at intermission, and help clean up after patrons following the performance.
