Anthony and Rosemary are 40-ish next-door neighbors in rural Ireland who are caught in their families’ land dispute. As years pass and the feud bitterly grows, Rosemary silently pines for the oblivious and withdrawn Anthony. When Anthony’s father threatens to disinherit him, Rosemary jumps in to save the farms and her dream of love. Shanley’s lyrical Irish romantic comedy tenderly reminds us it’s never too late to take a chance on love.
