Dale is pleased to return to The Players where he was last seen in Romance in D. This past year he appeared in the Jeff-nominated production of 42nd Street in Munster, Indiana at Theatre at the Center. Chicago credits include You Never Can Tell with Remy Bumppo, Unnecessary Farce with First Folio, Lutz in The Student Prince with Light Opera Works, and Comedy of Errors at Navy Pier. In 2006, he performed with Chicago Shakespeare in Henry IV Parts I and II at Stratford-upon-Avon in England to great acclaim. Other favored roles among many include Sq. Trewlaney in Treasure Island at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Dr. Watson in Sherlock’s Last Case; and Captain Andy in Showboat. Awards include two After Dark, Joseph Jefferson award for Little Me, A Lifetime Achievement Joseph Jefferson for 55 years of comedic portrayals, a Distinguished Alumni Award from DePaul University and the National Career Award from The National Society of Arts and Letters. Dale is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
