Paul Slade Smith is happy to return to Peninsula Players Theatre, where he appeared last year in The NerdMurder on the Nile, and as Amos (“Mr.Cellophane”) in Chicago. He comes directly to Door County from Totem Pole Playhouse in Pennsylvania, where he appeared as Frederick in Noises Off. His other credits include the national tours of Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera, and productions at many Chicago theaters, including Chicago Shakespeare, The Goodman and Steppenwolf. Paul is also a playwright. His play Unnecessary Farce appeared at Peninsula Players in 2007, and has received more than 100 productions since. He’s currently working on his next play, A Real Lulu. Paul is married to actress Erin Noel Grennan.
