Peninsula Players Theatre Awarded Grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board

Peninsula Players Theatre is honored to announce that it has been awarded a $13,780.00 grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, the state’s arts agency. This vital funding will support the Theatre’s mission to provide outstanding theatrical experiences while enriching the cultural landscape of Door County and beyond.

The award was provided through the Wisconsin Arts Board’s Creation and Presentation Program, which offers operational support to established nonprofit arts organizations that create or present ongoing programming with significant impact on the state’s cultural life. The program is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.

“We are deeply grateful to the Wisconsin Arts Board for their continued generous support,” said Managing Director Brian Kelsey. “Operational funding like this allows us to sustain the high artistic standards our audiences expect, support professional artists and staff, and expand meaningful engagement opportunities for our community.”

For more than five decades, the Wisconsin Arts Board has championed creativity, advanced arts education and strengthened community and economic development across the state. Its investment in organizations like Peninsula Players Theatre helps ensure that diverse, high-quality cultural experiences remain accessible to residents and visitors alike.

Peninsula Players Theatre is America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre.
