Peninsula Players Theatre Scholarship Applications Due Monday, April 6, 2026

Peninsula Players Theatre is proud to announce the continuation of its scholarship program for Door County high school seniors pursuing a major or minor in arts management, music, or theatre. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one graduating senior from each of Door County’s five high schools, and one homeschooled graduate, providing meaningful financial support as students begin their post-secondary education.

Established to encourage the educational and career aspirations of young artists and arts leaders, the Peninsula Players Theatre Scholarship reflects the organization’s enduring commitment to arts education. As America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre, Peninsula Players Theatre remains dedicated to fostering the next generation of performers, musicians, designers, technicians, and arts administrators.

“We believe that access to arts education can shape not only careers, but lives,” said Managing Director Brian Kelsey. “These scholarships are an investment in the creativity, dedication, and potential of Door County students. We are proud to support their ambitions and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the arts community.”

To qualify for a Peninsula Players Theatre Scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll as full-time college or technical students with a major or minor in arts management, music (performance or education), or theatre (acting, theatre studies, theatre technology, or design). Applications for the scholarship are available through the Door County Community Foundation.
