An homage to 1940s screwball comedy that delivers a non-stop rollercoaster of laughs
A Newport mansion in 1948 is populated with playwrights, actors, a young starstruck writer and the housekeeper who would like them all to leave. When an unexpected incident threatens to ruin the show they are creating, everyone must act fast to save the day. Comic chaos ensues and ensnares all in its madcap wake. Sometimes, even reality needs a rewrite to find a happy ending. This smart, delightfully charming new play is “a super entertaining, laugh a minute, romantic romp.” (LA Splash)
“Fast-paced, witty, wacky and an absolute winner!” – CultureVulture
“A total joy through and through… It is an elegant, sweet-dry glass of champagne, bubbling over with non-stop laughs, merriment, glamor, and high-spirited hijinks.” – Broadway World, Los Angeles
